I heard Coleman whinning from the back side of the table. I thought he was stuck underneath, but when I walked around the table, this is where I found him. He apparently pulled the vent/duct cover out of the floor and fell in thigh deep (the duct curves, so he could not go any further). I would like to say this little critter learned his lesson today, but for some reason I don't think he did. When I saw him, I laughed and told him he would have to wait a minute so I could get my camera. He wasn't crying, and if he were (depending on the cry) I would have retrieved my camera anyway.

Off the subject, Brad says he looks like a girl....
I will get his hair trimmed this week. I just don't want to cut off the curls in the back!! *****I got his hair cut yesterday. Brad was concerned that it looked like a mullett. Thankfully I polled our friends at church, and the unanimous concensus was that NO it wasn't a mullett. And they would have told us if it did look like one. Oh the things we "worry" about. lol

Finally, we've got snow!

This morning was a time when having 3 children was difficult. It took forever to get breakfast, everyone bundled and then outside. Coleman started fussing as we were getting bundled up. I was hoping once we went out he would cheer up, but that didn't happen. I finally realized (a half hour later) that he was tired after I stuck him into his bed, out of frustration, and he fell asleep in 5 minutes. Catherine, who has no fat on her body, was ready to go inside after making one loop around the house. And Lincoln, was ready to play oustside with mommy until forced to go in. After Coleman went to sleep, I got Catherine occupied with "The Letter Factory" movie, and Lincoln and I were able to play outside for quite a while. And fun it was! We don't have a sled or a snow disc, so at one point Lincoln was trying to slide on his belly down the hill in our yard. He didn't get far, but I think it was fun for him none-the-less. We tried to build a snowman but we weren't able to. Then we thought of the bulldozers and more fun reigned.

I was hoping for one snow before spring, and we finally got it. :)

Having fun outside at home

and at Grandmommy's and Granddaddy's
below- Catherine and Madeline

We enjoyed the sunny days outside with the scent of baseball season and spring mixed into the air. I enjoyed seeing the little bursts of yellow from the early daffodils. I am looking forward to spring!!
